KEE Action Sports Announces Pure Energy Air Systems Meet All European Union Requirements
Colchester, Essex, UK (PRWEB) February 6, 2008 -- KEE Action Sports, the industry leading manufacturer and distributor of paintball sports related products worldwide, announced today that all of its Pure Energy Air Systems sold in Europe meet all European Union safety and manufacturing standards.
Michael Lukas, Vice President of Supply Chain said, "Recently, various changes have taken effect in European regulations regarding the compressed gas cylinders and fittings; Based upon an extensive study of these regulations KEE Action Sports is please to announce it's Pure Energy Air Systems comply with all requirements."
Lukas went on to comment, "Over the last year, guidance documents have been released by several government agencies including the UK's 'DfT Dangerous Goods Guidance Note #15 - Guidance on small gas cylinders and fittings for use in paintball sports' and 'EC Guideline TPED 22' which are helping to clear up many misconceptions in the market place regarding marking requirements."
Lukas went on to quote from a section of TPED 22 "Article 1.3.continues to apply to existing valves and safety accessories. These can continue to be equipped on 'Pi marked' cylinders for distribution within the national market (local country) and for transport in accordance with RID/ADR. However, to benefit from free use within the EU, 'all marked' cylinders need to be equipped with 'Pi marked' or 'CE marked' valves or safety accessories." The result of this is all current Pure Energy air systems in service can be used within there national market.
Billy Ceranski, KEE's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, stated, "In order to provide our customers with the most up to date products possible, KEE Action Sports will be offering a free inspection and remarking program for all Pure Energy Air System owners through our office in England. Pure Energy Air System owners should contact our office and arrange for this to be completed at no charge. Ceranski went on to state, "The updated marking will allow a Pure Energy Air System owner to transport their 'filled' Pure Energy Air System across any EC member state boarder without any legal repercussions."
The Pure Energy Air system products covered by this announcement include all Pure Energy CO2 Tanks, all Pure Energy Compressed Air Systems, Pure Energy CO2 Pin Valves and all models of the popular Pure Energy Reactor Regulator.
