College Fanz and College Sports Information Directors Ink Pact : College Fanz Sports Network Newest CoSIDA Corporate Partner

MT. LAUREL, N.J. (Business Wire EON) June 10, 2008 -- "We are excited to have College Fanz join us as a corporate partner debuting at the 2008 CoSIDA Convention in Tampa this month," said CoSIDA president Charles Bloom. "College Fanz has a passion for college sports and its relationship with CoSIDA and the institutions it represents can be a benefit to all college sports fans."

The College Fanz Sports Network (http://www.collegefanz.com) has over 20,000 individual sports pages already in place, and these pages will include schedules and scores for over 220,000 games, matches, meets and events at 1,348 colleges and universities throughout the country for the 2008-2009 academic year. Working with all CoSIDA members, College Fanz will provide "in progress" scoring for every sport contested at every NCAA Division I, II, and III member institution as well as every NAIA school.

Bill Rasmussen, founder and CEO of College Fanz said, "We're very excited about our new partnership with CoSIDA. We look forward to working with all CoSIDA members to provide schedules, scores and standings for over 20,000 teams playing sports at nearly 1,350 schools across America." CoSIDA members have the ability to post scores in real time for every sport. There is no charge to the schools or CoSIDA members for this service.

Rasmussen continued, "This will be an especially valuable service for those sports and schools afforded little, if any, attention by the media. Together, we will deliver more scores to more fans in more places faster than ever. Fans around the world will be able to follow their team, their sport, their school, their conference as the action unfolds."

College Fanz also provides each SID the opportunity to post game notes, stories, videos and photos. They can start discussions or blog to better serve their mission of expanding the awareness of the many athletic accomplishments of his / her student athletes.

Registration is free for all fans and SIDs.
