Sports & Learning Center Boasts Surround Sound Theater by Doctor Sound

Flower Mound, TX (PRWEB) October 26, 2006 -- The new 27,000-foot location of the popular Win Kids Sports & Learning Center, here, has more room, an expanded service offering – and a state-of-the-art surround sound theater by Doctor Sound Home Theater, Inc., of Lewisville.

The upscale youth activities center recently changed its name from Gym Kids to Win Kids to better represent its expanded line of services. In addition to previously offered gymnastics, martial arts, parent-and-child classes, cheerleading, sports skills, dance and swimming, Win Kids now offers competitive cheer and dance teams, Music Kids, Care Kids, Tiny Tots classes and a children's hair salon.

That translates into thousands of children attending Win Kids classes and events. The Doctor Sound Movie House theater provides a comfortable, convenient place for parents and other family members to be entertained during classes. The theater also will be used for children's competitive training sessions, special "movie night" events, and "watch parties" for athletic competitions.

The Doctor Sound Movie House is a 25-by-17-foot dedicated facility that features a Mitsubishi projector with a 133-inch Da-Lite® screen, Integra® components and Atlantic Technology in-wall speakers. For maximum flexibility, it uses kid-friendly beanbag-style seating.

Doctor Sound also supplied the gym areas with Speaker Craft audio servers, control system and Peavey commercial speakers, as well as Ethereal cables and Chief mounting brackets. The theater and other audio/visual systems are the result of a creative, mutually beneficial marketing approach by Doctor Sound and Win Kids.

"The location at Win Kids provides a second showroom for Doctor Sound in a location heavily trafficked by people predisposed to have an interest our products and services," Doctor Sound President Keith Prather, said. "It also opens many new possibilities for family activities at Win Kids, an enterprise built on family values."

The Doctor Sound Movie House may be seen at Win Kids Sports and Learning Center, 3000 Waketon Road, in the Waketon Ranch development on FM 2499, south of FM 407 in Flower Mound.
